**About BeCode**

At BeCode, our mission is to enable tomorrow’s untapped digital talents to blossom. We are a social impact-driven coding school, specialized in in-demand digital skills and using active pedagogy, helping motivated individuals in vulnerable professional situations to meet the needs of the job market. Since 2017, we have grown to a team of 50 people, over 4 campuses in Belgium and helped over 3000 job seekers to start their career in the ICT sector as a Web Developer, AI Operator, DevOps, Cyber Security Analyst or SAP consultant.

**Job Overview**

You are accountable for the full scope of HR management at BeCode: from recruitment to training, from payroll to wellbeing at work. Together with your team, you ensure excellence in how the HR activities are managed at BeCode and you deploy further HR processes to help the organization in its objectives. You are part of the Leadership team where you advise, influence and support your colleagues in the day to day management of the company.

**Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities are very diverse and include:
Soft HR Management (about 65% of your time)
- Supervise the recruitment activities that are managed by a People Officer
- Develop a strong onboarding program for all newcomers
- Boost people development and engagement activities: evaluations, training plan, satisfaction surveys and its action plans, career development conversations, leadership support, HR tools...
- Wellbeing: ensure compliance regarding prevention duties, deploy the plan in line with subsidies received
- Write and coordinate content of the monthly internal newsletter and internal communications
- Organize team days, in collaboration with the HQ Team and Leadership team

**Hard HR Management** (about 35% of your time)
- Ensure proper payroll processing with Securex
- Manage HR administration (contracts, questions, documents, career break requests...)
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Advise the Leadership team on legal questions and actuality
- Contribute to the GDPR management for the HR aspects
- Manage company insurances
- Compensation & Benefits management (bike lease, CCT90 bonus, salary reviews, function classification updates etc)
- Manage laptops and IT supplies with the support of the IT Project Manager
- Supervise the team of campus admin coordinators

**Leadership team**
- Build an HR Strategy for the long term, in collaboration with the CEO and the Leadership team, taking into account forecast of staffing needs
- Support the Leadership team in their management duties and in providing the right HR support to ensure delivery of the company’s objectives.
- Participate in Board of Directors meetings

**Are you the Leader we’re looking for?**

To be successful in this job, you need to:

- Have a proven track in an HR strategic role (min 5 years of experience as HRBP or HR Manager role)
- Have a generalist experience, giving you the possibility to manage the Hard and the Soft HR parts of this role
- Be a team player ready to trust your colleagues and coach your team members
- Be able to move regularly in our different campuses to be present at least once a month in each of them
- Be fluent in English and French, with a good command of Dutch

**Our offer**

We are looking for a **full time Head of HR**. We are in hybrid mode, between our HeadQuarters in Brussel, our campus in Liège, Gent and Charleroi and at home (3 days on campus, 2 days at home on average).
