- Since our beginnings in Norway in 2016, we have successfully expanded into 10 European markets including Sweden, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UK, Austria, Portugal and Poland. In addition, Otovo has successfully launched in Brazil. Very soon we will be setting off on a journey to continue the Otovo success story in Belgium.
- We are currently building a brand new team who share our passion for clean energy and are ready for the challenge of building an innovative business in Belgium from scratch.
**Your role at Otovo**
**Head of Sales (f/m/d)**
Start: As soon as possible
Location: Brussels, min. 50% office preferred
**Your tasks**
- As Head of Sales you will be responsible for spearheading Otovo’s growth in Belgium.
- Identify customer needs, create pitches targeted to Belgium market, understand the competitive landscape
- Lead by example: build and execute an ambitious sales pipeline helping individuals and families across Belgium obtain rooftop and battery installations.
- Train and coach incoming sales managers and junior colleagues helping them succeed and build their professional skills
- Set and help execute clear individual and team goals, plan activities and develop country-specific sales procedures
- Identify and implement successful strategies leading to higher conversion rates
- Deliver on company KPIs and targets
- Identify and explore partnership opportunities with e.g. energy cooperatives
- Be in continuous contact with other Heads of Sales and Global Head of Sales to share and implement best practices
- You and your team will be provided with qualified leads, who registered their interest in buying solar systems on the Otovo website. No cold calling will be required.
- Identify the customer's needs and problems and take appropriate actions.
**What we look for**
- A doer with a hands-on mentality.
- 3+ years of experience in sales or customer success experience, preferably within renewable energy or construction.
- University degree or a professional commercial training.
- Clear and convincing communication skills.
- A results oriented mindset.
- Courage to question the status quo and come up with out of the box solutions.
- Fluent in Dutch and French (preferred), proficient in written and spoken English
