**TECHNICAL SERVICE SPCIALIST**
**MILK QUALITY ANIMAL HEALTH (MQAH)**

DeLaval is now looking for a Technical Service Specialist MQAH. This position is reporting to the Technology Manager R&D Milk Quality Animal Health in the PMD organisation.
The Product Management & Development Unit has the responsibility to develop innovative and leading-edge solutions for dairy farmers around the world.
**Purpose of role and key responsibilities**
**Plan, design and execute clinical trials for mastitis prevention, hoof disease, and cleaning and sanitizing of milking systems in dairy farms. Prepare protocols and required documentation for planning, executing and monitoring clinical trials for regulatory and market support.
***Analyze and interpret large data sets as required by group initiative and prepare scientific papers. Assist and advise Product Management & Development Unit regarding clinical trials for product development and technical support for existing products.**
**Qualifications and experience**
To be successful in this role we see that you have:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Animal/Dairy/Veterinary Science required, with PhD in the area
- Fluent communication in Dutch and English
- Experience with statistics for veterinary and animal science using statistical packages (i.e. SAS)
- Have practical experience in cow physiology, mastitis and milk quality, dairy farming and milking systems, preferably 3+ years
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive and independent, self-starter, team worker
- Organized, task oriented and analytical personality
