**Who are we?**
Proximus Media House (PmH) is part of the Proximus group and is the subsidiary involved in the creation, production, purchase and exploitation of audiovisual content. This content is offered via the Proximus platform and broadcast on its own channels that are exclusive to the Proximus TV platform.

PmH broadcasts via 3 linear TV channels (Proximus Pickx Live, Pickx+ and Proximus Sports).
PmH provides the broadcasting of Belgian and International football.
The Video on Demand catalogue with more than 2000 films is also managed by PmH. All this in the two national languages.

**Who are we looking for?**

As Media Operator, you belong to the operational team within the TBI department who operates the technical flows from media sourcing to the publication on final consumer facing platforms. You ensure the quality of video, audio, metadata and subtitling, as well as all publication components of all publications, until media timely publication.

- Excellent communication skills and people oriented.
- Ability to function under pressure and to handle operational stress of consumer-facing exposed deliverables.
- Proficient in at least two of the following languages: NL/EN/FR.

Profile

**Main tasks**

1. Materials handling
- Order the material according to acquisitions contract and translate the exploitation conditions by creating rights lines in the relevant tools
- Create and link all products in the CMS
- Perform a quality control on the file
- Confirm to providers that the material is well conform
- Add subtitles and/or edit the file if necessary
- Publish the content to the Test platform for last QC
- Check final publication conformity
- Identify and fix issues encountered along the above steps
- Insure VTR (assets archiving process) and manage the archived files as well as availability along assets lifecycle
- Manage (or create if needed) all trailers for VOD & Channel.
- Support IT & Application team in business needs

2. Publication quality
- Make sure all the assets you oversee are provided with relevant metadata to enable publication
- Request enrichment/fixing when necessary to relevant stakeholders, or enrich yourself depending on the asset
- Liaise with external partners to whom PMH provides media handling and/or playout servicing to deliver according to their requests
- Liaise with PXS/CNT teams to enable Editorial Animation according to their guidelines and Animation planning
- Correct asset publication in case of server, xml or metadata error.
- Input and follow dashboards to reach KPIs and endeavour to lower error rates to the extent of your influence

3. Subtitling
- Perform checks and adapt subtitles files received from external providers
- Create subtitles for internal productions and sometimes externals as well
- Follow the production planning to respect different deadlines
- Ensure the global subtitles quality with no spelling or grammar mistake to reflect the premium positioning PMH aims to claim on its operational scope

4. Live streaming
- You insure operational production of live streaming events with supervision of Production team
- You input relevant metadata in the systems to make sure the content you support producing can be exploited in a consumer facing result up to PMH standards, and that Editorial Animation is enabled as well on PXS content platforms
