To strengthen our **Procurement team**, based in our **Headquarter **in **Brussels**, **Belgium**, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of**:Procurement Lead, Drug Product.**
**Your contribution**:
**Network Strategy**
- Develop Procurement strategies that are well articulated with the business, provide consistent value and are optimized for commercial leverage, risk mitigation and right oversight
- Provide market dynamics, benchmarking, assessment of competitive landscape and market intelligence
- Identify potential new partners to be considered where applicable (as per supplier selection SOPs)
- Development of target vendor lists by product families, sourcing frameworks and standard commercial terms and conditions
**Supplier Segmentation**
- Deliver category expertise, analytics and market intelligence in order to assess Suppliers in terms of performance, value and strategic importance vis a vis the long-term requirements
- Maintain, review and develop commercial relationship models as an outcome of the segmentation and business strategy
- Attend and provide commercial input to CDMOs annual segmentation review following the agreed framework
- Lead segmentation exercises beyond CDMOs to cover the full scope of spend
**Supplier Selection**
- Provide input for the make vs buy decision as required (and when applicable)
- Ensure development of appropriated URS and develop commercial requirements
Develop selection criteria matrixes and consolidate all information in agreed templates
- Support sourcing recommendation to defined governance groups
- Oversee and coach sourcing managers performing sourcing projects within the spend journey
**Contracting**
- Responsible for developing and maintaining commercial relationship with CDMOs and key Suppliers
- Accountable for the sourcing process within the scope and to manage contracting and sign off processes within the agreed framework
- Ensure requirements are fully captured by the different contributors (Ext. Mfg., SC, COE, QA, Legal, IP, ) before initiating a sourcing project
- Lead deal teams and negotiation strategies as per the existing segmentation for critical projects
- Oversee, coach and provide guidance to sourcing managers performing contracting within the spend journey to ensure SME is developed within the Sourcing team
- Ensure proper contract set up, signature and contract management
- Ensure contract life cycle management
**Operational Management**
- Accountable for the establishment of Lead Vendor Teams (SRM) for key non-CDMOs
- Provide support in case issues would arise which are not in line with the outcome of the contractual discussions for CDMOs or are addressed to the anchor point in the sourcing team
- Provides support mainly for potential commercial escalations, critical projects and vendor development activities
- Ensure any changes to the collaboration are evaluated and where applicable contractually reflected through the contract lifecycle management process
- Coordinates with the sourcing team the allocation of resources required to support operational activities
**Performance Management**
- Coordinate assessment of commercial performance within the spend journey including financial KPIs (REBIT / PPV)
- Accountable for the spend journey budget and year over year performance
- Coordinate competitive landscape and price to price COGS improvement opportunities
- Supports in discussions around supply and quality issues when connected with the contractual performance
- Acts as single point of contact for commercial escalation
**Risk Management**
- Ensure standard frameworks and visibility for supply and financial risk assessment within the spend journey are applied (lead Procurement COE)
- Ensures risk management strategies are embedded into contracts (when applicable)
- Develop, share and support plans for commercial and supply risk responses
**Sustainability**
- Ensure standard frameworks for sustainability assessment within the spend journey are applied (lead Procurement COE)
- Ensure SBTI and Ecovadis assessment within the spend journey are applied (lead Procurement COE)
- Provide commercial leverage to sustainability programs
- Ensure sustainability is embedded into contracts
- Ensure sustainability is included as a criteria for Supplier selection
