Production Manager

Jouw focus ligt op het dagelijks coachen, aansturen en motiveren van een team van 5 direct reports en een afdeling van een 100-tal medewerkers.
- In het kader van ‘frontline focused leadership’, ben je regelmatig op de werkvloer en ben je het voornaamste aanspreekpunt voor jouw productieteam. Je inspireert jouw team en geeft gestructureerde aansturing via KPIs.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de realisatie van de productieobjectieven, op korte en lange termijn. Daarbij zorg je voor een optimaal productierendement, rekening houdend met de hoge eisen op het vlak van veiligheid, kwaliteit, hygiëne en milieu.
- Je bent nauw betrokken in het proces van productontwikkeling, en doet voorstellen voor nieuwe producten of voor verbeteringen aan bestaande producten.
- Daarnaast verzorg je periodieke rapportering over de KPI’s en initieer je procesoptimalisaties.
- Je adviseert en participeert in innovatie
- en investeringsprojecten.
Als Production Manager rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Plant Director.
Als Production Manager draag je de verantwoordelijkheid voor alle productie activiteiten binnen de onze productiesite La Lorraine Oostende.

- en kwaliteitsbeleid bereik je met jouw team klanten
- en werknemerstevredenheid, met oog voor rentabiliteit en continue verbetering.
- Je heb een Master en een eerste leidinggevende ervaring in een productie-omgeving, idealiter in de voedingsindustrie.
- Dankzij je inspirirende leiderschapsstijl, connecteer je makkelijk met alle lagen in de organisatie en slaag je erin mensen te motiveren en mee te nemen in veranderingen.
- Je bent flexibel, gezien de volcontinue productie waarvoor je verantwoordelijk bent. Dit betekent concreet dat je ook connecteert met je team die werkt in het weekend en nachtshift.
- Je hebt een sterk procesinzicht, bent vertrouwd met lean-principes en geeft sturing op basis van cijfers en KPI’s.
- Je hebt een brede kijk op het productiegebeuren: productiebeheerssystemen, technologie, techniek, kwaliteit, veiligheid, operational excellence, enz.
