**Your role & work environment**

The Consumer Loans team at ING BE has set high ambitions for 2024. First, we aim to transform the product and the process to become the first fully digital product of Retail BE, at a high customer satisfaction level while reaching a stellar 50% straight-through-processing rate via automation initiatives. Second, we aim to double our sales for the highest ROE product, being convenience loans, which will require competitive marketing as well as a frictionless online journey and a sharp credit decisioning processes, including introducing predefined limits. Third, we support the ambitious commercial growth ambitions for Credit Cards, by leveraging on synergies with Consumer Loans.

As part of the Tribe Consumer Loans, you will be the Product Lead for Commercial Strategy and Digital Transformation. You will be end-to-end responsible for the who, the what and the how.
- Who: A number of CJEs and data analysts will report hierarchically to you, which means it is your job to empower them to thrive and perform at their best. You set direction, you help them to develop their craftsmanship and you have continuous conversations about their career development.
- What: You are responsible for creating a product vision, how we manage the business value and how we deliver a differentiating customer experience. You and your team define strategic change projects on a multitude of dimensions including digitization, sustainability, point of sales lending, buy now pay later, etc.
- How: You translate the business ambitions into a tight delivery roadmap and steer the execution thereof with your own team and other squads in the tribe, as well as manage stakeholders. Additionally, you and your team operate in the central cockpit of Consumer Loans, on daily basis finetuning all potential commercial levers (value proposition, campaigning, pricing, underwriting, operations, etc)

As a Product Lead Commercial Strategy & Digital Transformation, you will report hierarchically to the Tribe Lead Consumer Loans. You will be part of the Management Team of Consumer Loans together with the Tribe Lead, IT Area Lead, IT Chapter Lead and a colleague Product Lead.

**Your key responsibilities**
- As the Product Lead Commercial Strategy & Digital Transformation, you will:

- Manage, coach, inspire, develop, evaluate and assess the 3 CJEs and 1 data analyst in your hierarchical scope, as well as ITPs and consultants temporarily joining the team
- Continuously develop and rechallenge our digital approach and commercial strategy for consumer lending as well as credit cards, in collaboration with your fellow Product Lead responsible for the origination and in-life management flows as well as with your Tribe Lead.
- Functionally steer on prioritization and delivery on three levels:

- the commercial squad in your scope, covering daily activities on value proposition, campaigning, pricing, underwriting, operations and much more.
- the strategic x-squad and x-functional project teams in your scope, working on topics such as introducing predefined limits and becoming mobile-led in sales approach.
- the elaborate value chain of Consumer Loans, including sales, operations and risk teams.
- Organize for success by continuously optimizing the tribe design, squad composition and way of working together with the Management Team Consumer Loans.
