Manager, Market Product Management

Mastercard’s Cyber and Intelligence (C&I) Solutions organization develops and delivers world class products and services for customers across the globe. As part of this organization, the C&I Network Solutions (NS) Europe team develops and manages value add products and services based on the global core switching platforms for debit, credit and prepaid. Our goals are to enable customers (e.g., issuers, acquirers, merchants, etc.) to make better-informed decisions about transactions and thereby help them improve consumer experience and to create a core switching environment that delivers measurably greater value than our competitors.
The NS Europe team is looking for a Manager, Market Product Management to:
- Drive the development and execution of strategic NS value add services across the Europe Region in the area of currency conversion, premium segmentation and chargeback optimization
- Provide expert knowledge to banks, merchants, processors on how to optimize the use of our products
- Drive revenues by helping the account teams sell our value add services, including analyzing existing usage, presenting our solutions, coordinating sales discussions

Role
- Enhance and evangelize the NS Europe value proposition for our customers, including issuers, acquirers and merchants, so it can be clearly understood and communicated by customer facing teams
- Serve as product ‘ambassador’ by effectively articulating strategy, roadmap, and value proposition in industry, customer, and internal forums, including face to face meetings and webinars
- Work with cross functional Mastercard teams to integrate the different products with each other and create Mastercard overall storylines - key other teams to work with are D&S Advisors, Managed Services, Loyalty, Treasury and the P&I Core Product Team
- Support the development and implementation of regional pricing strategies
- Responsible for the development and communication of regional innovations as agreed to by the global NS product development team
- Must be able to work with global teams based in St Louis, Missouri and New York (as needed)
All About You
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering financial results while operating within a team environment
- Enthusiastic cross functional leader with ability to tell a compelling story
- Superior communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong ability to interact, build consensus and influence across a variety of internal business units and levels of leadership
- Account management or project management background with knowledge of core payment processing platforms
- Demonstrable experience in product conceptualization, design, and commercialization
- Sound business judgment with established conceptual thinking and analytical skills
- Comfort with and an ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree or MBA is a plus
- Fluent in both spoken and written English, other European language is a plus
- Prior experience in banking, payment processing, or treasury is a plus
- Position requires up to 5% travel
