**Job description**:
We are seeking a seasoned Planning Manager to join our team at Amaris Consulting. This role is designed for professionals with 7-10 years of experience in the field, offering an Undetermined Duration Contract. The position is based in Belgium.
- Take charge of the production planning department, reporting directly to the supply chain director.
- Provide short and middle-term production plans to various departments including Production, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics.
- Maintain close monitoring of execution production planning while adjusting it according to operational or market variations.
- Daily management of performance KPIs along with Pareto analysis and root cause identification for major deviations from set goals.
- Optimize stocks by managing both incoming material and work-in-progress effectively.
- Ensure on-time delivery (OTIF) of orders while providing analytical insights and action plans in case of delays.
- Nurture relationships with external capacities concerning planning and execution matters.
- Suggest operational organization strategies that align with achieving company objectives efficiently. Manage the planning team effectively towards achieving desired results.

**About You**:
- You possess 7-10 years' worth professional experience as a Planning Manager or equivalent positions within Supply Chain Management.
- You have a proven track record of managing teams and driving them towards achieving set objectives.
- Your strong analytical skills enable you to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights that drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills are second nature to you, allowing for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- You demonstrate an ability to adapt quickly in response to changes in market conditions or operational variations.
- Adept at using advanced planning tools and software is essential for this role.
