To develop and grow our Industrial End-User Market in Belgium and Netherlands we are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Sales Development Manager.

You will join a committed team of 9 x Sales Engineers covering the Industry segment in Benelux, UK and Ireland. With base in Aartselaar, Belgium you will refer to Richard Child, Sales Manager IEM located in UK.
You succeed in this role by having an in depth understanding of both the technical and commercial challenges our customers in the industry face and translate them into value creating offerings. You are familiar with targeting Senior Management as Operations and Sustainability Directors.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Establish relationships with new and existing customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales targets.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement and early opportunity creation, collaboration with Sales Engineers and monitoring customer performance through to project delivery.
- Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, pull through marketing and indirect methods such as networking.
- Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers.
- Draft and deliver proposals.
- Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis.
- Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns.
- Independently develop and ensure quality opportunity pipeline and grow sales with a strong hit rate.
- Develop knowledge in the market on Grundfos solutions - explaining the benefit for the different customer groups within the customers organization.
- Identify key stakeholders, profile potential and existing IEM customers to focus the Industry segment (IND) resource and ensure highest chance of success.
- Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability within own area.
- Ensure knowledge sharing with the team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure our one Company Culture.
**What we are looking for**
We are setting ambitious goals for boosting our Industrial End-User Market in the region and will be looking for a person with energy and capability to develop and build up the market. You have a sharp eye for identifying potential and capture it in a business plan.
We imagine that you have:
- More than 3 years of experience with sales development in industry related solutions.
- Experience with sales processes from an international organization.
- Familiarity with digital offerings in connection with technical solutions is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional good communication and relation building skills.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Ability to meet the need for frequent travel in the role
