**Doelstelling**:
Voor een van onze klanten in Hoboken is TORMANS nog opzoek naar een Process Engineering Manager.
**Voornaamste taken**:
Als Process Engineering manager lever je de ontwerpinput aan de engineeringteams om het project te realiseren met speciale aandacht voor veiligheid en schonere milieuaspecten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de procesondersteuning tijdens veiligheidsstudies, de procesontwerpinformatie voor de apparatuur en de validatie van de apparatuur. Bij inbedrijfstelling en opstart ben je verantwoordelijk voor het inbedrijfstellingsplan, procesopvolging en troubleshooting.
Uw verantwoordelijkheden:
- ondersteunen van de Project Manager tijdens design engineering fase;
- vertalen van de procesinformatie van het onderzoekslab en engineering naar een operationele proces flowsheet (afmetingen van de belangrijkste apparatuur, energie
- en koelbehoeften, utility requirements, logistieke afhandelingen, impact van shutdowns op onderling afhankelijke units);
- al deze informatie vastleggen en beheren in een up-to-date document;
- verantwoordelijk zijn voor de procesontwikkeling, bestaande uit de processtroomdiagrammen en P&ID’s, energierecuperaties, waarborgen van de veiligheid van apparatuur en processen
- het voortouw nemen en deelnemen aan de studies naar de gevaren van het proces, je bent verantwoordelijk voor de procesbeschrijving van het nieuwe proces en de veiligheidsinformatie, nodig om de veiligheidsstudies uit te voeren;
- deelnemen aan de technische evaluatie van de voorstellen voor engineeringapparatuur door de leverancier;
- experimentele tests bij de leveranciers opvolgen;
- bij de inbedrijfstelling en het opstarten ben je verantwoordelijk voor de procesopvolging en het oplossen van problemen.
**Profiel**:
Wij zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste collega die
- een masterdiploma als ingenieur heeft behaald, bij voorkeur in de richting chemie of toegepaste wetenschappen
- ervaring heeft met procestechniek en/of procesveiligheidsmanagementsystemen
- de drive heeft om je technische kennis te gebruiken om een installatie te ontwikkelen die robuust, veilig en schoon (= milieuvriendelijk) is
- heeft technische kennis en/of achtergrond om de technische documenten te kunnen interpreteren, chemische en mechanische kennis is een pré.
- heeft een positieve instelling en is teamgericht
- heeft verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en initiatief om zelfstandig taken tot een succesvol eindstadium te brengen in al zijn fasen
- is een snelle leerling met hands-on mentaliteit en veiligheid zit in je genen
