Hou je van een feestje? Hou je er nóg meer van als je het zelf mag organiseren? Schep jij spontaan orde voor er chaos heerst? Haal je voldoening uit het organisatorisch uitwerken en on-the-spot opvolgen van events bij een groeibedrijf met de nodige rock and roll? Dan ben jij diegene die we zoeken
**I Functie**
Als medewerker events & operations ben je verantwoordelijk voor het operationeel opvolgen van zowel interne als externe events (bv. corporate events, communies, recepties, huwelijken, presentaties, etc...). Je staat in nauw contact met onze event
- en procesmanager en bent zijn rechterhand bij de uitvoering en dit over de verschillende locaties van MTM heen.
**I Jouw dagelijkse taken**
- Je denkt mee over een efficiënte opstelling bij het opzetten van interne en externe events.
- Je beheert een effectieve stockoverview (dranken, vaatwerk, bestek, linnen, etc) en geeft bestellingen door.
- Je superviseert de mise-en-place en verloop van events (zaal, tafels, dienstmateriaal, benodigdheden,...) maar steekt ook mee de handen uit de mouwen voor een op
- of afbouw. Je stuurt bij waar nodig.
- Je communiceert met klanten en blijft hun rechtstreekse aanspreekpunt voor, tijdens en na het event.
- Je stuurt het personeel aan/bij tijdens events (voorkomen, pauzes,..) en bent hun go-to bij vragen en/of problemen. Je bewaakt hierbij de personeelskost, groepsdynamiek en een goede sfeer
- In kalmere event periodes spring je operationeel bij in andere facetten en venues van MTM. Daarbij zorg je net zoals onze andere vaste medewerkers voor een efficiënte dagelijkse werking waarbij je klantvriendelijkheid en kwalitatieve bediening hoog in het vaandel draagt.
**I Administratie**
- Je zorgt voor de administratieve opvolging van de events en de bars/restaurants volgens de interne richtlijnen.
- Je controleert de gegevens van de voorraad, leverbonnen, verkoop, facturen.
- Je verzorgt de personeelsadministratie en staat in voor de werkplanning (uurroosters) en de taakverdeling.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de afrekening en het bijhouden van de kassa en omzet.
- Je rapporteert aan de event
- en procesmanager.
**I Functievereisten**
- Je bent klantgericht en draagt hospitality hoog in het vaandel.
- Je bent gemotiveerd en durft proactief initiatief nemen.
- Je kan samenwerken met een team en kan dit team aansturen.
- Je bent organisatorisch zeer sterk en je hebt zin voor verantwoordelijkheid.
- Je hebt grondige vak
- en productkennis.
- Je hebt een hotelschool of horecaopleiding en/of gelijkwaardig door ervaring in soortgelijke functie.
- Je bent creatief, nauwkeurig en flexibel bij veranderende omstandigheden
- Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B.
- Avond
- en weekendwerk schrikken je niet af en hebt weinig voeling met een 9 to 5 leven.
