**Junior IT Operations Specialist**

CellCarta leverages its strong expertise in cancer to support the entire spectrum of biomarker services including biomarker discovery in the research phase, tumor profiling and biomarker monitoring in clinical studies and companion diagnostics registration studies, patient diagnostics and development of new techniques and tests for tumor analysis and prediction of treatment response. The company bridges the gap between research, clinical studies and diagnostics.

With the merger a new IT strategy is defined to support the scalability and growth of the company and focusing on a number of major critical areas in the IT environment. Additional skills and experience are needed to strengthen the team.

We are currently recruiting a Junior IT Operations Specialist.

Department: IT

Location: Gosselies (Charleroi) and Wilrijk (Antwerp) - Global role from Belgium

**Function**

The Junior IT Operations Specialist reports to the Team Manager End-User, Cloud and Platform Services Europe-Asia.

**Major responsibilities**

The Junior IT Operations Specialist contributes in following IT tasks:

- Provide first-line IT support to CellCarta employees with the focus on the Gosselies site
- Perform IT Infrastructure Installations according to CellCarta quality requirements
- Perform IT Infrastructure Maintenance
- Perform IT related tasks (check backup, logs, etc) following a regular schedule
- Work with relevant departments to ensure timely completion of IT projects
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement of the CellCarta IT infrastructure
- Ensure registration of IT related activities in corresponding systems
- Liaison between Gosselies Operations and global CSV team to facilitate CSV deliverables in accordance to the company’s global CSV process
- As primary local contact for CSV matters, liaison between the CSV stakeholders such as the QA department, system owners, project managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME)
- Travel between CellCarta Gosselies and Antwerp locations

**Profile**
- Bachelors’ degree. Preferred in computer sciences or equivalent by experience
- 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting Infrastructure services with multiple technologies
- An understanding of typical laboratory workflows and GxP processes in a chemical or pharmaceutical environmental or similar industries would be advantageous but is not a must
- Fluent in English and Dutch. French is an asset
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
