To strengthen our **Rare Disease Access team**, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of**: Global Access Program Manager. **The Global Access Program Manager will drive successful and timely completion of core access, pricing and external engagement (APEX) deliverables to support Zilucoplan and Rozimab patients with access to medicines for their disease management.

The primary purpose of a **Global Access Program Manager** (GAPM) is to deliver an integrated global to local access, pricing and external engagement plan that incorporates the HELIX roadmaps, Launch Excellence Framework, Brand Plans and aligns with UCBs Access to Medicines KPIs. A GAPM’s role is to initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control and ultimately close an access, pricing and external engagement related program to successfully realize the intended benefits. This includes overseeing any sub-projects and programs.

GAPMs will partner with the project sponsor (typically a Payer Value Strategy, Pricing Strategy or Health Economics Leader), who has accountability and team leadership for the program. GAPMs are a standing member of the Access team.

As part of the Access team, GAPMs are responsible for proactively ensuring program goals and strategies are appropriately framed, scoped and delivered in line with UCB’s standards and processes, including oversight of the sub-projects, so that UCB’s governance bodies and stakeholders can make the most informed and timely decisions.

GAPMs need to ensure there is strong communication amongst team members and with multiple stakeholders in different regions including external partners, ideally managed through a comprehensive communications plan. Effective program communication and managing the culture in line with UCB’s values is an essential leadership component of the GAPM’s role in working with cross-functional, diverse teams.

GAPM assignments can vary in terms of program scope, size and complexity and may also include project management of specific access, pricing and health economics deliverables within the program. GAPMs act as champions for Program and Project Management techniques and processes, educating colleagues in these areas and sharing best practice across the organization.

**You will contribute by**:

- Framing Program Goals and Objectives

Drive the development of an integrated global to local access, pricing and external engagement plan using Program and Project Management standards and processes to ensure clear objectives, scope and prioritization in a project charter or similar. GAPMs will determine the access governance requirements to ensure adherence to established reimbursement frameworks, such as National Payer Dossier Development.
- Setting Program Planning Baseline

Ensure appropriate program strategies are in place to meet the overall goals including a baseline plan, clear teamwork/organization breakdown structure as per scope, scheduling, requirements prioritization and benefits in a measurable business case with trade-off analysis where appropriate.
- Program Budgeting and Resourcing

Partner with Finance to set, oversee and monitor the program budget, with appropriate change controls and probabilisation for key program and project milestones. This includes negotiating and driving the partnership agreement and financial cycle process.
- Executing Programs and Projects

Responsible for program execution through the team and overseeing sub-projects. This includes managing program performance against UCB’s Access to Medicines KPIs, HELIX milestones and pricing governance bodies. For all programs this includes proactively identifying, troubleshooting and escalating risks and issues as well as realizing the benefits of project-related opportunities. It also includes use of UCB’s project processes, reporting and technology such as INTEGRATE, Sharepoint, SAP and SOURCE.
