**About the job**: As Customer Category Manager, you are the first point of contact with the retailer, and in particular with the customer's category teams. Working in tandem with the Key Account Manager, you will draw up an annual customer plan for the retailer, and monitor and execute this plan in terms of assortment, promotions, planograms, etc., in order to maximize the performance of the category and brand with the customer.
You will report directly to the Key Account Manager.
**Your main responsibilities will include among others**:
- Drawing up the brand's category development plan with the help of the marketing team (market reviews, innovation presentations and assortment recommendations, recommendations for trade-marketing/promotional operations/on-line visibility actions, planogram recommendations).
- Ensure administrative management of assortment and promotional levers for customers.
- Analyze business data and provide clear information on categories, trends and analysis.
- Communicate and collaborate with sales force on customer plan execution.
- Evaluate brand performance, including post-evaluation of actions taken.
- You have a solid academic background.
- You have a first experience in Category Management/Retail, but a solid background in marketing and/or sales can also bring added value.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with Nielsen/Excel, rigor and attention to detail.
- Your communication and presentation skills are of a high standard.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, initiative and results-oriented.
- Fluent in Dutch and French.
