Functiebeschrijving
Binnen het departement ‘Group Procurement’ van Elia/50Hertz is het team ‘Contract & Claim Management’ een gecentraliseerde functie voor het beheer van de relatie met contractors bij grote investeringsprojecten gedurende de volledige levenscyclus van een project. De Contract & Claim Manager is vanaf het begin betrokken bij het project (incl. voorbereiding van de aanbestedingsdocumenten en contracten, onderhandelingen met de leverancier, enz.), maar is volledig verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoeringsfase.
Tijdens de uitvoeringsfase is de Contract Manager - samen met de Project en Package Managers - verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van de overeengekomen contracten met de leveranciers op het vlak van prestaties, kosten, timing, klachtenbehandeling en alle commerciële & juridische aspecten. Hij/zij wordt ondersteund door het Technical Project Team, de interne juristen, andere relevante departementen binnen Elia Group of externe consultants. De huidige functie is gericht op de leverancierscontracten voor het ontwerp, de productie en de installatie (voornamelijk offshore) van onderzeese kabelsystemen voor het Prinses Elisabeth Eiland (MOG 2).
**Hoofdtaken van de Contract & Claim Manager**:
Ondersteunen van en overleggen met de Package Managers/Project Leaders bij alle contractuele en commerciële aspecten, om ervoor te zorgen dat alle fasen van het bouwproject succesvol verlopen;
Ontwikkelen en beheren van commerciële strategieën en strategieën voor de behandeling van klachten bij het project, in samenwerking met het Project Management;
Proactief behandelen en beheren van afwijkingen, belemmeringen en klachten in overleg met de Technical Project Manager en teamleden;
Opstellen en beheren van de correspondentie en documentatie met betrekking tot commerciële projecten;
Adequaat beheren van de contractrisico’s en oplossen van geschillen;
Afhandelen van de commerciële aspecten en documenten (incl. betalingstermijnen, prijsaanpassingen, enz.);
Tijdig beheren van de te leveren contractprestaties en garanderen van de kwaliteit en kostenstructuur. In geval van problemen neemt hij/zij corrigerende maatregelen met de Technical Project Manager en stemt hij/zij de verdere aanpak af met de leveranciers;
Opstellen van management
- en statusrapporten (incl. KPI-tracking);
Optreden als bemiddelaar tussen de leverancier en de teams, vooral bij escalerende situaties of gezamenlijke probleemoplossing. Hij/zij zoekt naar mogelijkheden om win-win-situaties te verkrijgen;
Continue opvolgen van klachten en behandelen van geschillen in nauwe samenwerking met het juridische departement en het Project Management;
Geven van de nodige feedback aan de interne departementen, het CCM-team en de inkopers om toekomstige problemen te voorkomen (geleerde lessen).
Jouw profiel
Je hebt een masterdiploma in een commerciële, juridische of technische (burgerlijk of industrieel ingenieur) richting.
Je hebt meerdere jaren ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie (contractbeheer) en een grondige kennis van het aansturen van internationale partners.
Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands of het Frans; een goede beheersing van het Engels is een must.
Je werkt graag zelfstandig en hebt de mentaliteit van een projectmanager. Je kunt interne en externe geschillen snel oplossen.
Je hebt een strategische focus en een bredere kijk op alle projectdoelen die zijn verankerd in je dagelijkse takenpakket.
Je hebt een zeer analytische geest en bent een problem solver, waardoor je snel en concrete resultaten boekt.
Je kunt assertief en gestructureerd communiceren, vooral in een internationale context.
**Ervaring in de volgende gebieden is een troef**:
Geavanceerde vaardigheden inzake Contract & Claim Management en/of Project Management;
Commerciële achtergrond in de uitvoering van grote projecten (Turnkey/EPCI/raamcontracten) en ervaring met onderhandelingen;
Ervaring met offshore investeringsprojecten (productie en installatie van offshore kabelproductie, offshore platforms, enz.);
Kennis van de mechanismen voor contractgeschillen en beslechtingen (de-escalatie)
