Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for reactive and proactive account and segment sales (with focus on government/association/corporate) to maximize total revenue for the Brussels hotels. Ensuring both properties and company standards are attained and adhered to be based on a full account management principle, responsible for overall proactive sales deployment locally and internationally (key source market).
- Support the development of the hotels positioning within the market and be the voice of the client to help shape up the long-term positioning strategy of the hotels.
- You take ownership of your market: you think about new business opportunities, customer needs, market trends, competitor practices, to develop a relevant sales strategy with the support of your line Manager. You work in close cooperation with the Brussels hotel teams, Revenue and M&E department to achieve goals together.
- Engaging in national/international sales activities, workshops, tradeshows,to showcase Brussels hotels. Travel within Brussels and Belgium is required with a minimum of international travel on a monthly or bi-monthly base.
- Direct support to the Country Director of Sales with regards to reporting, making/ interpret analyses, engagement with weekly hotel and ASO calls in order to align with all departments on area and hotel’s performances, daily support of the sales team (with focus on the corporate segment)
- Working proactively to maximize client satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
- Develops and implements strategies (based on Account Development Plans) where key sales metrics are identified, communicated and delivered where reports and tracking tools are effectively maintained in line with defined initiatives & targets (tools such as SAP sales cloud, Travel Click, Lanyon, ). Analyzes hotel market share reports and month end reports to make recommendations to maximize results.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales position within the hotel industry
- Experience (3-5y) required on the Brussels market and in the corporate, government/association segments
- Strong customer development and relationship management skills
- Strategic planning skills - demonstrates the ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies for multiple hotels
- Ability to evaluate business trends and modify business strategies accordingly
- Ability to execute against the strategy and drive results
- Excellent selling skills with an hands-on approach, a Yes I can mindset and the ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations (by using the Trusted advisor/counsellor's approach)
