Thales Belgium SA, Belgium competence center of Thales, is a company located on 2 sites, one in Tubize (near Brussels) and the other one in Herstal (near Liège). Thales Belgium, which employs more than 280 collaborators, is specialized in the design, development and supply of critical information systems for customers in the sectors of Defense, Security (including Cyber) and Aerospace.

**Project Management Officer**
**Mission**:
As a member of the Projects team, The Project Management Officer (PMO) is accountable for the operational activities of the Project Management Office position and contribute to the project’s delivery of the company in a first time at EUROCONTROL and if necessary give support to the team in the offices of Thales Belgium at Tubize.
He/She reports to the Service Manager at EUROCONTROL.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Administrative follow-up of multiple projects of Thales Belgium at EUROCONTROL.
- Keep all contractual reporting up to date and report towards Service Manager and/or customer when requested.
- As point of contact, maintain good relationships with customer and subcontractors.
- Organization of Continuous Improvement activities (e.g. Surveys, SWOT exercises, etc.).
- Producing project reports and metrics.
- Manage the verification, creation, and approval of collaborators timecards.
- Preparing invoices for Thales activities and reception of invoices from collaborators.
- Creation of purchase requests related to the needs of the projects.
- Preparation of communications to the whole team.
- Elaborate and maintain relevant KPI’s identified for the project.
- Create purchase requests when needed.
- Track actions highlighted in meetings (Conduct and maintain the action plan derived from the meetings).
- Assist the Project/Service Manager for presentations, minutes of meetings, preparation of monthly status review towards management ad one-shot tasks when requested.
- Back-up the Service Manager in monthly coordination meeting when needed.
- Consolidate financial view of subcontractors’ working on the project.
- Provide recommendations to the team based on internal standard requirements.
- You will work inside a team with diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
- Your work will be performed taking into account that you will be a representative of Thales Belgium at EUROCONTROL.
**Profile**:
- You have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a PMO position in an international and technically demanding environment.
- You are autonomous and rigorous.
- Strong knowledge of MS Suite.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills.
- You are able to work in cross-functional teams and you are a real team-player.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken), French is an asset.
- Work will be done at EUROCONTROL premises in Brussels and if necessary also at Thales Belgium in Tubize.
