**Communications Assistant (Women in Logistics non-profit initiative) - Home Office - Belgium (M/F / div)**

We are seeking highly motivated, creative self-starter to strengthen the team and communication efforts of a fast-growing technology company in the transport logistics industry.**

**The role involves building a foundation and business community related to the promotion of women´s challenges with regards to developing careers as leaders in the European transport logistics industry. Herein, the objective will be to develop a footprint for the organisation in the media while attracting and building a network of sponsors and partners for collaboration and communications.**

**The job requires a combination of education, communication, fundraising and supporting women´s professional advancement experience in transport logistics.**

**Your main role and responsibilities**:

- **Support in building communication kit and communications tools to engage community**
- **Support in development and management of webpage, social media, PR, fundraising activities**
- **Build working groups and various initiatives to promote the organisation's´ goals**
- **Research and identify potential community members, partners and sponsors**
- **Assist in design and execution of PR and marketing campaigns to develop media footprint, publicity and also to attract sponsors / members**
- **Public relations, participate in developing stories, placing these stories in the European media**
- **Develop content partnerships and other communication initiatives**
- **Engage in project and topic-related market research for content, event speaking**
- **Assist in organisation and production of events (conferences, fundraising events, award)**
- **Active maintenance of a social media channels and webpage**

**Your profile**:

- **Graduate in communications, political or social science, marketing**
- **Previous experience in PR, media or event management and fundraising**
- **Experience in sales, marketing, charity or non/profit advocacy group**
- **Interest in the the logistics or transport sector**
- **Communication experience in charity, non-profit advocacy group work**
- **Excellent professional English writing and communication skills and additional European languages**
- **Native speaker in French, Dutch, or other European language**
- **Excellent written language skills in another**
- **Eligible to work and live in the EU**
- **High professionalism, creativity, attention to detail, ability to work in a team as well as resilience and commitment**
- **Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as the ability to improvise is a matter of course for you - "thinking out of the box"**
- **Ability to work independently, responsibly and effectively in the home office**
- **Willingness to travel for events and functions**
