The Sales Strategy & Planning trainee will report to the Manager Sales Support and Controlling, working within the Sales organisation to support the sales teams and hotels across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC). They will support in developing and rolling-out a host of key initiatives to drive sales, including implementing new systems and tools, training, reporting and communication.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Strategic Projects (20%)
- Onboarding - support with rolling-out a full education program for newcomers within the area and hotel sales teams. Key activities: program design, content creation, communication and program management
- Sales funding model - analysis of current funding model to gain full clarity and governance, as well as reviewing potential future model
Budget and Controlling (50%)
- Invoice tracking
- Raising Sales Purchase Orders and doing Goods Receipts
- Preparing re-billing files
Sales CRM system management - SAP Sales Cloud (20%)
- Work with the sales systems to understand the sales process and facilitate the process for the sales teams, including:
- User licence and sales organisation management
- Data quality - analysis and implementation
- Training materials and documentation management
Communications and Education (10%)
- Ensure key messages are communicated to key stakeholders within the sales teams and throughout the RHG network (above-property and hotel-level)
- Keep all sales content up-to-date and available
- Support upkeep and development of training materials and key documentation for sales
***A SUCCESSFUL TRAINEE**:
- has to be enrolled in a school program in order to be eligible for the internship
- has a sharp eye for detail and is very accurate and precise
- has good excel, word and power point skills
- is fluent in English, both verbal and written
- must be able to prioritise and work within tight deadlines
- is trustworthy, has a high level of passion and integrity
- can work in Europe
