Role and responsibilities:
- Guide people & develop talents_:
- Responsible for overall career direction and capability building track
- Develop and evaluate center of expertise members’ performance
- Support and monitor the development plans & objectives of the CoE members
- Support tribe leads regarding people management activities for the detached resources of the CoE
- Act as reference in his/her specialty, supporting resolution of highly complex problems.
- Define professional standards and methodology and ensure the right compliance, key trends and innovation practices in the industry
- Ensure the development of capabilities for the center of expertise members
- Bring strategic vision and define roadmap for his/her own CoE_:
- Accountable for achieving the CoE goals and managing allocated budgets
- Balance short-, medium
- and long-term focus
- Maintain and prioritize the CoE backlog
- Focus on value creation by supporting tribes_:
- Collaborate with the tribe leads to achieve the tribe ambitions through a strategic vision from the perspective of his/her expertise
- Allocate and monitor ‘ad-hoc” CoE resources to the different tribes
- Align with the tribe leads to negotiate trade-off’s and identify cross-tribe dependencies
Qualifications:
- Strong experience as "Head of IT Stragegy" or "Head of IT Infrastructure" in large and complex environments
- Linguistic skills : English + French or Dutch
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven skills in coaching CoE members in the areas of performance, standards, change and work methods
- Proven ability to guide, motivate and inspire members.
- Proven Agile leadership capabilities
- Good To Gold leadership qualities and role model of the Proximus values
Believer of a non-hierarchical culture of interaction, transparency and trust in squads
- Openness to new ideas and desire to develop them together
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
