Job Description: Marketing Manager SCS Europe

UPS Supply Chain Solutions - Freight Shipping and Logistics

**Position Overview**:
The Marketing Manager will have a seat at the table of the European Management team, and will drive the development and execution of our marketing initiatives and market analytics, contribute to our customer experience and create customer communication.

The position reports to the President of UPS SCS Europe and manages an international team of marketing professionals across several countries.

**Res**ponsibilities**:
**Strategic Planning**:

- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define target audiences and segments.
- Contribute to semi-annual business planning activities.

**Market Intelligence**:

- Deliver updates on industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Capture strategic data and information, drive trend and scenario analysis, and other business analytics.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the functional product and division leads teams to align marketing efforts with lead generation and conversion goals.
- Connect and align with global Marketing teams, and localize content where needed.

**Communication**:

- Craft clear and compelling communication materials, including press releases, articles, and presentations, to effectively convey the business unit’s key messages.
- Collaborate with PR and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and positive brand representation.

**Campaign Development**:

- Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement, and generate leads.
- Identifies new business opportunities to support the marketing and sales objectives via lead campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
- Utilize both online and offline channels effectively, including digital advertising, social media, content marketing, and events.

**Digital Marketing**:

- Manage the company's online presence through various digital channels.
- Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics to optimize strategies for maximum impact.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven management experience (5 years) in marketing strategy development and execution, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, tools, and techniques.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics, tools and data-driven decision-making
- Comfortable with SQL, PowerBI and Advanced Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and branding aesthetics.
- Experience with project management and budgeting.
