About the Role:
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective information security strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals. This includes overseeing the development of cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and architecture standards, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable national and international cybersecurity regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information Security Strategy: Develop a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks to the company's digital and physical assets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable national and international cybersecurity regulations, including GDPR and NIS2 Directive.
- Incident Response & Recovery: Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
- Security Architecture & Policies: Define and enforce security policies, frameworks, and architecture standards.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a skilled information security team.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with executive leadership, legal, compliance, and IT teams.
- Vendor & Third-Party Risk Management: Manage third-party risk assessments.
- Security Monitoring & Threat Intelligence: Oversee continuous monitoring of the company's networks and systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years as a CISO or in a senior leadership role.
- Knowledge & Skills: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
