Context

Degroof Petercam Asset Management (DPAM) is looking to hire a Portfolio Manager for its Institutional Client base.

Your position
- Actively contribute to the portfolio construction, risk monitoring and day-to-day management of the various investment portfolios across a wide range of asset classes.
- Develop, analyse and implement (new) investment ideas within the investment universe in a holistic and pragmatic way.
- Meet with external clients to review the performance, outline the investment outlook and discuss investment solutions.
- Prepare and actively participate in investment committees.
- Assist the dedicated RFP team in order to extend the existing base of clients.
- Keen interest in sustainability.
- Collaborate and interact with various teams throughout the company (macro-research, fixed income managers and analysts, equity managers and analysts).

**Profile**:

- You have a Master’s degree (economics or similar).
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in financial markets.
- You are passionate about finance and capital markets and a thorough understanding of macro-economics.
- Eager to continuously learn and being challenged, and you have attention for detail.
- Holding the CFA degree or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
- You are enthusiastic and a team player.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and high ethical standards.
- Solid communication and presentation skills and the capacity to express yourself in the three main languages (FR/EN/NL), any additional language being a plus.
- You have analytical and programming skills (e.g. Excel VBA, Python).
- Openness for some travel is required.
