**About Evos Ghent**:Evos Ghent is a tank terminal for fuels and chemicals that operates via pipeline, trains, trucks and ships. The terminal is in full energy transition to become the Green Hub of North Sea Port. Approximately 85 employees are working at Evos Ghent.

**About the role**: In this role you, as member of the Management Team (MT) of the terminal, have co-responsibility for the development, implementation and realization of the overall strategy, plans and objectives as well as the overall performance of the operating company Evos Ghent.

In line with the long-term business plan for the Evos group, group functional guidelines, standards and legal requirements you co-develop, implement and execute finance plans. The objective is to be proactive business partner that is fully appreciated and respected by the rest of the terminal management.

The Finance Manager is expected to support the organization in improving its performance. You understand the dynamics of this industry and that your approach can be different every time. You are used to untrodden paths to create support, always from a shared interest Management sees you as a valuable partner, sharp, but constructive and solution oriented.

Hierarchically, you report to the Managing Director of the terminal and functionally to the Manager Group Business Control of the Evos group.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Contributing to the terminal strategy realization, as a member of the MT, and communicating with various management levels to ensure clarity and acceptance, geared towards maximising shareholders’ value.- Developing, translating, implementing strategic goals into measurable key performance indicators and financial plans (as a member of the Evos Finance Group Managers team), in close cooperation with management and in line with the terminal financial strategy.- Control and monitor month-end processes, budget, and forecasts.- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to terminal management and group finance.- Lead the preparation annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Belgian GAAP in close cooperation with the Evos Shared Finance Services.- Perform profitability analysis, margin tracking, and cost-benefit assessments.- Conducting financial viability studies for investment/ divestment opportunities.- Maintaining the Evos risk management register of the terminal.- Perform profitability analysis, margin tracking, and cost-benefit assessments.- Coordinate and forecast future growth projects (investment proposals) in close cooperation with the commercial team and monitor project controls execution as per Evos project management standard.- Identifying risks and exposures for the terminal. Preparing and executing the mitigation plan.- Implementing and securing internal controls and making data available for internal and external audits.- Optimising, monitoring, and periodically testing the internal control processes in to enhance and maintain efficiency and effectiveness.- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, legal, and regulatory requirements in Belgium.- Leading the Finance team.- Foster cross-functional collaboration between finance, commercial, operations, and technical teams.

**About you**:You are a seasoned Finance Manager with at least ten years’ experience in hands-on finance processes, business control and accounting. Further you match:
- You have a university or higher professional qualification in Finance or Business Administration e.g. Master of Business Administration.- Experience in logistics/storage or comparable international industry- Successful track record in a financial management position.- Strong leadership skills.- Fluent in Dutch and English- Competences: analytical and conceptual thinking, customer focus, adaptability and change, influencing skills in buying and selling.
