The role focuses on optimizing interactions with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), ensuring efficient market access and regulatory compliance. The team manages complex data pipelines and plays a crucial role in market operations worth billions annually.
Key Responsibilities
**Market & Business Analysis**:
- Gain expertise in TSO markets, balancing mechanisms, and energy regulations.
- Monitor regulatory and operational changes impacting short-term power markets.
- Advise stakeholders on TSO access, balancing, and redispatching processes.
**Requirements Definition & Solution Design**:
- Conduct business needs analysis in collaboration with portfolio managers and operators.
- Define and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
- Work closely with architects to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Translate business needs into structured functional requirements.
**Implementation & Project Coordination**:
- Act as a functional reference throughout project lifecycles.
- Support developers in validating implementations, conducting UAT, and troubleshooting.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Understanding of European TSO operations, balancing markets, and energy regulations.
- Ability to optimize complex market interactions.
- Experience in documenting workflows and defining system interactions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business, IT, and architecture teams.
