Het Van Der Valk hotel Brussels Airport is op zoek naar een ervaren Shift Leader.
Als Shift Leader ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het operationeel leiden van een dienst aan de Front Office onder leiding van de Front Office Manager, waarbij er ten allen tijde wordt toegezien op het verlenen van uitstekende service aan onze hotelgasten.
**Taken & verantwoordelijkheden**
- Verleent ten allen tijde uitstekende service aan de hotelgasten;
- Bereidt alle nodige administratie voor met betrekking tot de aankomst en het vertrek van alle gasten (regulars, VIP’s, groepen, etc.);
- Verwelkomt alle gasten, zorgt voor een verwelkomende en professionele check-in en verstrekt correcte informatie met betrekking tot de services van het hotel;
- Organiseert transport voor hotelgasten (taxi’s, hotelshuttle, etc.);
- Behandelt klachten en schenkt voortdurend aandacht aan de behoeften van de gast;
- Bereidt facturen voor, controleert betalingsmogelijkheden en regelt de betalingen bij check-out;
- Is verantwoordelijk voor alle cash handlings;
- Neemt reserveringen aan en gaat om met annulaties van reserveringen en no-shows;
- Blijft up-to-date met huidige promoties en prijszettingen van het hotel om ten allen tijde gasten correcte informatie door te geven;
- Houdt de lobby ten allen tijde netjes en ordelijk;
- Rapporteert alle technische fouten aan de afdeling Technische Dienst;
- Houdt checklists up-to-date;
- Draait nodige rapporten voor housekeepers en management;
- Draagt de verantwoordelijkheid van een feilloos verloop van de shift aan de receptie en een kwalitatieve overdracht ervan naar de volgende shift;
- Houdt de openstaande balans van de in-house gasten in het oog en kijkt toe op een correctie afhandeling ervan;
- Gaat op een discrete manier om met informatie;
- Begeleidt collega-receptionisten in hun ontwikkeling;
- Geeft feedback aan FOM aangaande het verloop van de shift en de ontwikkeling van de collega’s.
**Profiel**
- Wij zoeken een gastvrije en positief ingestelde medewerker met passie voor hospitality
- Teamplayer, stressbestendigheid en geen nine-to-five ingesteldheid zijn van belang
- Goede communicatieskills en taalvaardigheid (NL - FR - ENG) zijn noodzakelijk
- Rijbewijs B is een pluspunt
