**Head of Clinical Data and Innovation**

We are looking for a visionary and strategic **Head of Clinical Data and Innovation **to join us in our **Global Clinical Science & Operations **team, based in Brussels, Belgium; Monheim, Germany or Slough, UK.

**About the role**

You will lead the Clinical Data and Innovation (CDI) department, overseeing various functions and embedding innovation in study conduct and process delivery. You will define and implement CDI strategy for infrastructure, technology, processes, and partnerships, ensuring support for all clinical trials at UCB. Additionally, you will represent CDI in discussions with external partners, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory agencies.

**Who you’ll work with**

You will report into Head of Global Clinical Science and Operations Team and work with other Clinical Data Specialist.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead the Clinical Data and Innovation (CDI) department, overseeing clinical data management, risk management, data quality, centralized monitoring, data standards, technologies, and innovation.
- Define and implement short/mid/long-term CDI strategy for infrastructure, technology, processes, resourcing models, and partnerships.
- Ensure CDI infrastructure supports all clinical trials (Phases 1-4, local, and non-interventional) conducted by UCB.
- Guarantee efficient data access and support insight generation for the lifecycle of all UCB compounds.
- Represent CDI in discussions with external partners, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory agencies.

- Relevant academic background with 15+ years in pharmaceutical development.
- 10+ years in international Clinical Data Management/Operations.
- Strong understanding of data processes and technical infrastructure.
- Proven leadership in managing large global organizations and teams.
- Ability to develop and implement global strategies, adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
