We’re looking for a Technical Project Lead / Engineering Manager to join our client’s organization and lead technical teams through both application modernization and the development of a new, business-critical web platform. This role combines project leadership, people management and strong technical expertise. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage priorities and delivery timelines, facilitate Scrum ceremonies and act as a technical reference for the teams. The position initially focuses on stabilizing and migrating a legacy Windows application while supporting the launch of a modern web-based platform. As the legacy transition progresses, the focus will progressively shift toward the new solution. Role & Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate technical teams, adapting your management approach to different profiles and levels of experience.
• Plan projects, establish priorities, monitor progress and ensure delivery against agreed timelines.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coordinate technical stakeholders, project governance and business representatives, providing clear and regular status reporting.
• Supervise the maintenance and modernization of a legacy Windows client application, ensuring stability and compatibility with future Windows versions.
• Provide technical guidance to teams developing a modern, responsive web platform based on microservices and micro-frontend architecture.
• Oversee backend and frontend development, including unit and integration testing.
• Ensure proper source-code management, documentation and development standards.
• Guide DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines, application and infrastructure deployment, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support the implementation of highly available, scalable and containerized solutions.
• Act as a technical reference for architecture, development, security and operational topics.
• Identify risks, resolve issues and adapt priorities when unforeseen challenges affect the original planning.
• Translate complex technical topics into clear information for non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with the relevant governance structures to support key technical and managerial decisions. Technical Profile The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with proven project and team leadership experience. Key technical skills include:

NET and C#, particularly for microservices development.
• REST APIs, gRPC and event-driven architecture.
• Angular and Micro-Frontend architecture, with solid knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Modern web application and SPA development.
• OpenID Connect and O365 authentication for both backend services and frontend applications.
• Git and GitLab, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Kubernetes, containerized environments and Infrastructure as Code.
• Unit and integration testing.
• PostgreSQL and relational database technologies.
• Monitoring solutions such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Microservices, Micro-Frontend and event-driven architectures.
• UML and BPMN modelling.
• Security by Design and secure software development practices.
• Knowledge of cryptography is an advantage.

• Several years of professional software development experience combined with proven experience in a technical leadership, engineering management or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to unite heterogeneous teams and stakeholders around common objectives.
• Pragmatic and analytical approach, with the ability to identify root causes rather than focusing only on symptoms.
• Strong sense of priorities, initiative and ownership, with the ability to remain effective under pressure and adjust plans when circumstances change.
• Empathetic and adaptable leadership style, combined with the ability to take firm decisions when required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with technical teams, management and stakeholders.
• Strong user and business orientation, with an understanding of how technical decisions affect operational needs and user experience.
• Experience with application modernization and migration from legacy desktop solutions to modern web platforms is highly valued.
• Experience with security by design and cybersecurity is an important asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Excellent English and good knowledge of at least one national language are required. Knowledge of both national languages is a strong advantage.
