Equans has the ambition to position itself as a key player on the full value chain of EV. In your role of Department Manager Electric Vehicles in Brussels, you will make sure that this leading position on the full value chain of Design, Build, and Maintain (DBM) with integrated CPO and MSP is taken. Your primary focus will be on developing an ambitious business plan, staffing the team and driving proactive business with both existing and new customers.

team leadership:lead and inspire the teamreinforce the team based on the business plan and ensure optimal staffing levels business development:
work closely with the business development team to identify and capitalize on opportunities in the EV marketexpand the Sales team to accommodate the growing demand for EV servicesfollow market evolutions to make sure the right solutions for the Equans customers are chosenlook at potential acquisitions build & maintain team:
assess the necessity for a dedicated Build & Maintain team and implement accordinglyclose partnership with external and internal partners where useful and neededoversee the recruitment, training, and management of the team to ensure high-quality project execution. profit & loss (P&L):
take full ownership of the P&L for the Electric Vehicles divisionimplement strategies to maximize revenue, minimize costs, and ensure overall profitability
What do you need to be successful in this function?
master's degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, or equivalent) minimal 10 years of experience in the Electric Vehicles industry proven experience in managing EV projects, from design to maintenance. With implementation of CPO and MSP functionalities on these projects financial acuity with experience managing profit and loss for business units familiarity with MSP and CPO functionalities in the EV sector business development acumen and a track record of successful market expansion ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment entrepreneurial spirit proactive mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth business development mindset, ability to organize/staff and motivate a team to achieve ambitious objectives strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams excellent communication and interpersonal skills fluent in French, Dutch and EnglishReady to lead and shape the future of Equans Electric Vehicles department?
