Our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for a freelance Organic Social Media Strategist to join its team of around 120 employees and serve a client in the tourism sector for about 6 days/month.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the organic social media strategy, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity and marketing objectives.
- Stay ahead of platform trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to maximize reach and engagement.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that balances engaging storytelling with brand objectives.
- Share the content plan with client for approval and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone of voice and messaging guidelines.
- Work closely with internal teams (Creative, Paid Media team, local community manager and Account Management).
- Maintain open communication with clients, providing updates on content performance, new opportunities, and emerging trends.
Requirements
- Experience in organic social media strategy.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for community-driven content.
- Nice to have: proficiency in organic social media management tools.
- Dutch or English native speaker.
