As an Engineer your specific duties for this post will include: - Perform service continuity improvement tasks on the NATO voice & VTC infrastructures; - Support innovation efforts related to voice and video conferencing technology; - Work with the project management team and provides technical support to projects to enhance and improve the existing infrastructure and services; - Plan, test and carry out routine configuration and maintenance operations within the voice and VTC domains; - Be prepared to support maintenance activities and infrastructure deployments during out of business hours; - Coordinate and raise CRQs (change requests) and ASIs (authorised service interruptions) when needed; - Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation (configuration baselines, engineering reports, network diagrams, etc.) and provide training for other team members on new technologies and features; - Mentor and/or coach team members on new voice and VTC technologies or features Experience Required At least 2 years' experience designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing collaboration tools and platforms within a digital ecosystem of an organization. Experience deploying communication and collaboration software (such as video conferencing systems, team messaging applications, and document sharing platforms). Proven experience in the configuration and operation of Voice and VTC core systems and end devices. Proven experience in deployment and configuration of security features in the voice and VTC domains (TLS, PKI, IPSec, etc.). Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to resolving QoS and technical issues in complex IP networks. Excellent knowledge of SIP, H.323 and PSTN signalling protocols. Good working knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies. Please send me your CV for an initial review.
