Support Manager (SPM) for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics)
in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

As
Support Manager (SPM) you will be responsible for:

  • Management and follow-up of the end user requests for data and statistics, development of ad hoc reports and analyses
  • Conception and organisation of users documentation
  • Elaboration and implementation of relevant support processes towards business and end users
  • First level service desk: improvement, documentation of the associated business processes
  • Responding to questions of internal and external users with respect to usage and access to data tools
  • Coordinating with relevant colleagues on incidents reported and changes requested by users
  • Reporting on support activities
  • Liaising with colleagues in policy and technical teams for the analysis and resolution of data quality issues
  • Coordination with the colleagues in the Data & Knowledge Policy Support domain, the data team and the IT teams
  • Participation in user, service and project meetings, including working groups and progress meetings

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

  • A bachelor degree of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

  • Good IT skills
  • Project management methodology and tools
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Objects
  • Knowledge of Qliksense
  • Very good communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Excellent capacity to communicate technical concepts with a non technical audience
  • Very good writing skills
  • Analysis and problemsolving skills
  • Knowledge of EU policies and EU institutions is a plus
- _Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team; _
- _Ability to participate in multilingual meetings; _
- _Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects; _
- _Excellent Team Player;_
- _Ability to understand, speak and write English C1; _
