Joining our tribe means you will be part of our mission to design and implement lean and digital client and non-client facing solutions that are paperless, automated and online enabling a seamless customer onboarding and review experience. You will help us leverage technological capabilities, continuously reduce non value-added process steps and seek to simplify and automate all processes of the customer KYC journey whilst being compliant at the same time. We support operational teams with smart tools enabling them to efficiently control the process and execute it smoothly.
In short, we fight Financial Economic Crime by helping to protect our bank and keep it safe, but we also fight inefficiencies and poor customer experience

Your impact
The role we currently have is in the Customer Tax Integrity (CTI) squad. Some of the key things you would be doing are:
· Managing processes from an E2E perspective – Being part of the CTI squad squad means managing processes from an E2E perspective with a focus on data, tooling, operational execution & efficiency and customer experience.
· Designing & implementing compliant and lean processes – Process implementation is a big part of what we do but always with a keen eye on keeping things lean, compliant by design and customer friendly. The CTI squad translates regulation including FATCA, CRS and US Withholding and local legislation into clear processes for onboarding, periodic and event driven reviews that are compliant by design, customer friedly and operationally efficient. They deliver clear work place instructions and training to the operational teams. They work with the business segments to limit both the operational and customer impact of processes while meeting the regulatory requirements.
· Addressing process gaps, monitoring process quality & conducting impact assessments – The CTI squad continiously monitors the effectiveness of CTI processes and the quality of CTI related customer data, identifying gaps that could lead to non-compliance. They collaborate with data analysts to ensure structural issues are identified via business tracking and other monitoring. They take the responsibility to solve structural issues with structural solutions.
· Digitalisation and alignment with structural solutions – The CTI process squad simplifies existing CTI processes, leveraging digital capabilities in close collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside of the KYC tribe. They ensure solutions are aligned with the strategy of global KYC while respecting the specificities of local Belgian regulation.
· Operational workload overview – We ensure there is a consistent and complete E2E view of the FATCA, CRS and US Withholding related operational workload across the organization.
· Linking pin between operations, compliance and product tribes – CTI are the linking pin between KYC operations, compliance and product tribes working closely together to make KYC CTI related matters happen.

• Non-financial risk management: understanding of non-financial risk management principles
• Know Your Customer/FATCA & CRS process knowledge: the understanding of KYC requirements and/or FATCA/CRS requirements and processes during onboarding, review and offboarding

· Automatizing the exchange of FATCA information between Global and Local systems, providing requirements, supporting during development, testing, and aftercare.
· Working together with investments tribe to improve product opening journeys by finetuning KYC checks, helping strengthening ING's position as a digital investment bank.
· Reinventing the CRS procedure for Incapables, reducing manual workload and customer impact.
