Our Test Engineering department plays a critical role in achieving this goal by automating and facilitating various testing services. By doing so, we empower development teams across Telenet to deploy new features to our customers with the highest quality and best experience.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Test Engineering department. As the Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled test engineers and experts, driving the development and implementation of testing strategies, tools, and frameworks to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability of our software products. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to align the Test Engineering strategy with business goals.
**Your tasks as a Team Manager Test Engineering**
- Lead the test engineering team, including test automation engineers and experts, to design, implement, and maintain testing strategies, tools, and frameworks.
- Develop and implement the test engineering strategy and roadmap for Telenet, in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Drive the adoption rate of test automation guidelines and tools to improve testing efficiency and reduce testing time and costs across the company
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing processes into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the test engineering processes.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise on testing techniques, processes, and tools.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues and ensure the highest level of quality and reliability of products.
- Manage the testing environment, including test data management, service virtualization, performance testing, and more.
- Establish and track KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing processes and the quality of software products.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in test engineering and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members as needed.

**Our Ideal Team Manager Test Engineering**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing and test engineering solutions, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Expertise in software testing techniques, processes, and tools, including test automation, performance testing, security testing, and others.
- Strong experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and integrating testing processes into the SDLC.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Dutch, French is a plus.
