In the New Business & Venture Tribe we look for new growth opportunities for Telenet. We work as "pirates in the navy" on building investments in new areas of growth, on top of the existing products & services in B2B & B2C, both in adjacent and transformational innovation. We are in the forefront of new growth for the company.
As a **Team Manager New Business Talent & Steering **you serve as the glue between the different new business teams/people and the rest of the organization, ensuring the successful initiation, execution, and growth of new business opportunities in our company. This by being the trusted partner as a people manager of the resources in the tribe & through enabling the right flow of activities and governance in our tribe. You are the challenger of the strategy (not the lead).
You will become the people lead of a bunch of multidisciplinary profiles ranging from New Venture Managers, Product Managers, Data & insight experts, Go-to-Market & IT specialists & will help them grow in their role in and outside of our tribe. For this you will bank on a large community of internal & external experts to drive resource optimization.
Next to this, you are an ambassador for innovation at Telenet, and as an "intrapreneur" you build a large network of stakeholders within and outside the company, to ensure we always move forward in the right direction & have the right alignments to do so.
The role will require a combination of strategic thinking, operational prowess, people skills and leadership acumen.
**Strategic Leadership**
- Works closely with the Product Owners of the New Business Tribe to refine and execute the company’s new business strategy.
- Ensures alignment of new business initiatives with the company’s overall strategic goals by ensuring right governance structure is in place to drive execution of the tracks in new business.
- Helps & coaches the new business team & individuals on strategic topics.
**Operational Oversight**
- Coordinates with various other tribes leads/team managers to drive x-circle alignment around new business topics, SLA’s and potential resource allocation opportunities.
- Oversees resource allocation of new business tribe team members (New Venture Managers, Product Managers, GTM,) to ensure all tracks are properly staffed and can be successfully executed. Is responsible for new hiring (if applicable).
- Helps to drive x-tribe initiatives such as Apollo (Telenet innovation track), Team dynamic training, Strategic and Operational frameworks, etc.
**People Leadership & Development**:
- Is responsible for the people management (hire & retain), leadership and growth development tracks of the new business & venture tribe resources (New Venture Managers, Product Managers, GTM, UX, Data analyst,).
- Mentors and guides teams involved in new business projects, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and innovation.
- Identify skills gaps and facilitates training or hiring to address them (externally).
- Handle, convey, motivate, and implement the continuous changes in organization/processes towards internal/external stakeholders.
**Leadership & Communication.**
- Coordinates the quarterly new business and venture board with the goal to create a transparent, efficient, and focused forum where decision making on all new business tracks can be initiated (quarterly).
- Coordinates & leads the monthly new business meeting with the goal to share progress on tracks, resource allocation constraints or other topics that have impact on new business & venture tribe way of working.
- Manage and constantly question current and realistic processes and procedures that have impact on our new business way of working.
- Good networking skills when addressing dependencies, problems, and/or escalations, etc.
- Represents our tribe in discussions with potential external partners, clients, and stakeholders. Actively participates on debates concerning the role of our company in internal and external innovation fora. Builds out partnerships where needed.

- You're passionate about innovation and technology & have experience in running or participate in innovation tracks in a dynamic environment.
- You are able to act as an intrapreneur and build relationships within and outside the company to drive new growth opportunities for Telenet.
- You have a strategic brain that can make the link between strategic objectives, process and people in a structured manner.
- You have experience in managing & coaching a large bunch of talented & innovative leaders in the company spanning multiple functions.
