**Role Overview**
**We are looking for**:
- A Payroll Process Specialist (NL/BE) to be in charge of supporting the Solvay Belgian Payroll and Benefits Team by providing accurate and timely services linked to Payroll or Benefits for Belgium and Netherlands.
- Based in Belgium, you will be part of a team of around 12 people based in Brussels (Neder-Over-Hembeek) that are in charge of the Benelux zone. Under the guidance of the Payroll Manager for BeNelux, you will take in charge autonomously several operational and complex activities linked to Payroll or Benefits.
**We count on you for**:
- Coordinate the end-to-end payroll process, and execute and monitor the controls in close collaboration with the Payroll team as well as with the external payroll provider to ensure the timely Payroll service delivery, using SAP payroll for Belgium and Netherland. For clarity, Solvay does not work with a social office in Belgium
- Analyze new legislation and HR rules, and assess their impact on the processes, procedure and tools (change requests to be managed in relationship with HR and the external payroll provider)
- Define functional recommendations or continuous improvements, and systems and process requirements based on you knowledge of local legislation and HR rules
- Give support for the management and administration of the Board of Directors payroll (including annual report) as well as other specific payroll processes occurring on a monthly or yearly basis
- Give support to the Solvay Belgian Payroll and Benefits Team related to on-going and transversal projects
- Support the management and administration of monthly advantages related to impat-expat (including INR process), coordinate and monitor activities performed by the payroll provider, perform in-depth consistency checks on data received and check results before transferring them into the payroll system, in line with the payroll calendar
- Provide support for preparing the compensation campaign, monitors and extracts information for reporting purposes and payroll implementation (merit increase, bonus, CCT90, warrants)
- Deliver information to the external authorities and might represent Solvay towards these authorities (e.g. assure follow-up and relationships with auditors or controllers, social or fiscal inspection or follow-up)

**You will bring**:
- Master diploma in Payroll/HRIS/Finance or equivalent through experience
- Strong experience in Payroll on an operational level - minimum 5 years’ experience in Belgian Payroll
- Belgium payroll and legislation knowledge mandatory
- Fluent in French and English mandatory (Dutch language knowledge is an asset)
- Dutch or international payroll experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of SAP HR
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google tools, advanced use of spreadsheets
- Work proactively and autonomously with strong customer service orientation;
- Well organized, stress resilient, being able to respect deadline, being a team player & collaborative approach
