TrendMiner, a Software AG company, develops discovery, diagnostic and predictive analytics for industrial solutions. Our cross-functional agile development team is creating a brand-new data mining product for process industry. TrendMiner is growing fast, so we’re always on the lookout for ambitious and enthusiastic new talent. We currently have a job opening for a Customer Success Architect.
- THE CHALLENGE
- The Customer Success Consultant* is part of the Customer Success team which works with customers post-sales. You will be responsible for customer adoption and retention of our customer base by focusing on IT-related technical topics such as deployment modes, network layouts and connectivity, enterprise data architecture and access security, cybersecurity, cloud best practices etc. that help customers make the right design decisions when implementing TrendMiner.
The Customer Success Architect will help reduce implementation risk, support customers futureproof their setups and reduce the time to value, which ultimately will contribute to drive usage, ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Define, build and support the required solution architecture of the TrendMiner platform integrated in our customers’ IT/OT landscape, with special attention for external data providers, including time series and contextual data stores like process historians or LIMS systems. This includes creation of best practices.-
- Help customers integrate their data landscape into TrendMiner by implementing and configuring the various available connectivity options in practice. This includes the creation of queries to select the relevant data from the selected data sources-
- Create and document the data models that originate from the design discussions-
- Develop reference architectures and deployments, including (private) cloud setups and SaaS offerings-
- Ensure customer setups adhere to (cyber)security standards, data access is controlled and implemented according to customer standards, and best practices are developed-
- Continuously educate on emerging technologies and database (time series in particular) developments in the manufacturing industry, and share key insights and learnings with the broader Customer Success team-
- Team up with the Customer Success Managers (CSM) and engage sponsor level at customers to discuss futureproofing customer architecture-
- Support the sales process by joining connectivity and architecture discussions, helping with the completion of RFI/RFP processes etc.- REQUIRED QUALITIES- Knowledge of or prior experience with process data historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI, Aspentech IP.21, Honeywell PHD, GE Historian, Yokogawa Exaquantum) and data lake technologies is a strong plus-
- Experience with connectivity (protocols like ODBC, etc.) and query languages (SQL, etc.)-
- Experience with the following technologies: networking (TCP/IP, DNS, IPSEC), virtualization, Linux, identity providers, etc.-
- General knowledge of authentication and authorization schemes such as Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, etc.-
- Organizational/time/project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously-
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills that establish trusted advisor relationships with clients-
- Motivational and inspirational personality with pro-active and hands-on attitude-
- Customer focus, and a result-oriented attitude with strong work ethic and can-do mentality-
- Value team results above personal praise-
- Proficient in English, both speaking and writing-
