**Description**:
As **Communication & Press Officer**, your mission is to be the **main point of contact for journalists **and external organisations, to coordinate **publications **and appearances in the **general and specialised press**, to **implement a communication strategy and action plan**, to **manage our digital communication channels** (newsletters, blog, website, press releases,...) and to coordinate the **communication projects** of all departments. You will also be in charge of organizing the events we do for our clients and of spotting opportunities for Easi in order to improve our visibility. The majority of your role will take place at our office in Leuven, with two days at our headquarter in Nívelles.
You will be part of the Easi Experience team whose aim is to improve the 360° Easi experience (from employees to partners). Your **dynamic personality** and **proactive nature** make you the right person to complete our **dream team**.

**Responsibilities**:
After having followed a **training course**, you will have to:
- Be the **point of contact **for journalists: maintain and **develop strong relationships** with the media that can provide media and social coverage
- Follow up on anything that directly or indirectly impacts our business and our clients to be able to **proactively generate story ideas and angles**, **write the necessary media materials **and present these ideas for coverage in the **general and specialist press**:
- Coordinate these **publications **and appearances in the **general and specialised press**:
- Contribute to the implementation of an external **communication strategy and action plan**. **Our identity has just been revitalised with a new logo**, a new graphic charter, new values and a new website. Your role is to give us maximum visibility
- Develop **strategic messages** for clients and support the creation of media plans and proposals to **raise awareness among target audiences**:
- Coordinate and participate in the **writing, sending and follow-up of e-news** (newsletters, press releases, blog, content for social networks,...)
- Define the right **communication channels and actions** in the context of new product launch plans in order to best reach the defined target audience
- Ensure the organisation of information on the various existing communication media and define an **editorial schedule**:
- Participate in the maintenance and **management of our website**:
- Attend events organised by Easi to increase our external visibility (Recruitment Day, company visits, etc.)
- Participate in organising our big corporate events
- **Coordinate communication projects** across all departments
- Participate in the **employer branding** mission, in collaboration with the HR team
- Participate and handle our Awards ceremony
- Help to organise some of our biggest internal events
- Be the reference person in Flanders in terms of visibility and corporate image
**Profile**:
**Must-have**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in communication, public relations, management or journalism (or equivalent experience)
- A first experience in the field of Communication/Press (student work, internship, job...)
- Affinity for writing
- Perfect written and spoken knowledge of Dutch
- Good knowledge of English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proactivity
- Good knowledge of web communication and social networks
- Personality: dynamic, friendly, outgoing, team player
**Nice-to-have**:
- Trilingual DU/FR/EN
- Knowledge of the journalistic world (contacts with journalists,...)
- Experience in an editorial role (blog, website,...)
