We are looking for a **Performance Analytics Lead** who is passionate to join us in our Insights-to-Impact Team, based at our HQ in **Brussels, Belgium**.

**About the role**

The Performance Analytics Lead is part of the **Insights-to-Impact (I2I) Team**, which combines Business Finance responsibilities (financial planning, performance management, resource allocation) with Operational Excellence and Performance Analytics.

The **Performance Analytics Lead** delivers the insights & analyses to assess the return on our Commercial investments, as well as our Digital investments (focusing on the corporate/global level). In addition, the Performance Analytics Lead supports a series of other projects to enable resource allocation.

**Who you’ll work with**

You will work closely together with the **commercial organization**, namely the Group Commercial team (PIM), Developed Brands team, and regional/global Commercial Leadership Teams

You will also work closely together with the **Digital Technology organization**, and the **Digital Corporate Strategy** team.

Finally, you will partner with your **regional I2I colleagues**, building on their insights, and jointly driving impact.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop and own methodology to assess the **return on our Commercial investments** (ROI analysis) across brands and geographies. Also drive the resource (re-)allocation process, in close collaboration with the global/regional Commercial Leadership Teams
- Work together with the Group Commercial organization (PIM) and Developed Brands on a selection of **strategic & operational topics** related to resource allocation
- Develop and own methodology to assess the **return on our Digital investments** (ROI analysis) across UCB. Support prioritization of Digital investments, and ensure that our investments are in alignment with UCB’s IT & Digital Strategy roadmap
- Develop and maintain **corporate level benchmarks** to assess UCB’s performance on key financial metrics
- Support and contribute to other **enterprise or corporate finance topics** and workstreams

**Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills**
- BSc (or equivalent) with extensive pharmaceutical experience.
- Experience with Commercial market data and/or Digital Technology
- Ability to think strategically and holistically, connecting the dots between variety of insight sources, and synthesizing the key implications.
- Analytical power and business acumen to derive advanced insights
- Ability to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations on multiple tasks and execute tasks accordingly with a high degree of quality.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in clear, brief and easy to understand manner
