**Join Our Team as Business Development Director for Service Logistics in EMEA**

Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for business development in the logistics industry? DHL Service Logistics is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Director to deliver an ambitious growth agenda across the EMEA region. If you have a knack for identifying new business opportunities and closing deals, we want to hear from you.

**Your Role**:
As the Business Development Director, you will be at the forefront of driving new business growth by identifying, assessing and winning new sales opportunities. You will manage RFQ opportunities effectively, ensuring we meet and exceed our ambitious growth targets. You will become a vital part of the Service Logistics team, the market leader in aftermarket logistics, field service solutions and circular economy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Customer Engagement:

- Pro-actively develop and nurture relationships with selected target accounts to access key decision-makers,
- Continuously review and identify potential business opportunities,
- Conduct research meetings to understand customer requirements and business objectives,
- Present solution proposals, lead contract negotiations, and close deals.

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute growth plans for Service Logistics including pro-active development of target accounts
- Conduct research on strategically prioritized areas to identify new business opportunities
- Develop structured plans to win opportunities and assess business fit with DHL Service Logistics.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal functions (Tender Management, Operations, HR, IT, Legal, Finance) to gather input and coordinate actions on new business projects,
- Become a senior voice in the global Service Logistics Business Development team, driving best practice sharing and customer targeting,
- Confidently deliver business case presentations to senior management, underpinned by a strong financial acumen.

Opportunity Management:

- Proactively identify opportunities within target markets (Technology, Medical Equipment, Engineering & Manufacturing, Automotive) and solutions (aftermarket, circular economy, network operations),
- Plan and lead the sales process and ensure quality and commercial standards are met,
- Act as an interface between customers and internal functions, ensuring smooth information flow. Analyze and interpret data with functional experts to support solution development,
- Develop and present convincing business fit proposals, lead customer negotiations and close deals.

**The requirements for the job**:

- 'Can Do' attitude with demonstrated resilience and perseverance, never giving up in the face of challenges
- Proven experience in Business Development, Account Management or General Management in complex supply chain environments, preferable focused around aftermarket logistics
- Strong general business acumen to navigate complex projects and drive decisions effectively
- Regional experience in EMEA, ability to travel (25% of time)
- Excellent organizational, planning and presentation skills. Ability to lead C-level conversations based on business thinking
- Logical thinking and creative problem-solving ability with attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English
