**The Opportunity**:
As a Product Owner you will be involved in hands-on management of Engineering backlog, using Agile and Scrum best practices and techniques to ensure our products and services are reliable, delivered on time, and meet business needs. Your technical background will enhance the collaboration with the engineering team to translate the requirements besides prioritizing and grooming the backlog You are a great communicator as you build bridges between several departments and work closely with the product managers.
**What You’ll Do**:

- Understand business needs at a tactical and a strategic level and translate them into a deep, prioritized and groomed backlog
- Define, prioritize and clarify requirements based on Product Roadmap and capture them in the form of user stories
- Close collaboration with the UX team in order to help with the generation of user stories
- Collaborate with the designers, architects and engineers to iterate on the MVP scope
- Experience with sprints containing new development alongside bug fixes
- Balance trade-offs between planned work and unplanned work
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Ensure backlog is ready for sprint planning
- Be the primary product specialist for the engineering team and serve as the key stakeholder of product decisions during planning, grooming and development
- Participate in team demos and retrospectives and ensure constant process improvement throughout the lifecycle
- Conduct user acceptance testing. Review QA test strategy and test cases to ensure they align to functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with documentation team to ensure quality and accuracy in the documentation
- Communicate the value of the product or new features to internal and external audiences
**What You Need to Succeed**:

- Leadership DNA - proven ability to set a vision, excite and lead cross-functional engineering teams
- Solid experience in product management with 5+ years in a technology focused business
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and cloud technologies
- Proven Experience in writing high quality user stories from a persona perspective
- Solid understanding of media conversion and transformations
- Hands-on experience developing and running a SaaS-based offering, ideally targeted at enterprise
- Familiarity with software development processes (Agile, SAFe, Scrum)
- Self-motivated approach to your work and the willingness to go the extra mile
- Superior attention to detail in product opportunity analyses and requirements documentation
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
