**Company**: This hotel is part of a large and successful hotelchain. With locations in and around Brussels, all hotels are settled at strategic locations in the city.
The hotel is positioned as one of the largest hotels in Brussels, not only in terms of rooms, but also in it's operations. In order to manage this we are looking for an experienced operations manager.
**Duties**:
In this role you are the **right hand of the General Manager. **You assist in his tasks and you are primarily responsible for the supervision of the **daily hotel operations**.
You ensure - in collaboration with the Head of Department-team - that the tasks are carried out efficiently and with focus on quality.
Your main responsibilities:
- Organization of the operations by checking the schedules, assigning tasks to colleagues, etc.
- Manage and develop the head of department-team through training, coaching, recruitment, etc.
- Organization of the weekly meetings
- Guaranteeing a high level of guest satisfaction - guarantee of the quality and service
- Supervising the sales and productivity in collaboration with the GM
- Check cash flow and invoices, stock and orders etc.
- Drafting and monitoring of forecasts, productivities, budgets, etc.
- Replacing the General Manager in his absence
**Profile**:
This position fulfills a key function in the hotel. For that reason we are looking for a true hotel professional with experience within operations.
Furthermore, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- A motivated & hands-on professional
- Experience as Head of Department / Operations Manager in a large-scale hotel structure or as a GM in a small-scale concept
- You are diplomatic & tactful as well as a real peoplemanager - 'leading by example' is your trademark
- Experience with the operations
- Good knowledge and insight into the numerical aspect - able to make the translation to the operations
- Preferable trilingual: FR / ENG / NL
- Flexible, ambitious, hands-on and sense of initiative
- Commercial feeling
