Plan International België werkt al meer dan 35 jaar aan een wereld die rechtvaardig en veilig is voor alle kinderen. Alle kinderen hebben recht op onderwijs en kansen. Die rechtvaardigheid begint bij dezelfde kansen voor meisjes en jongens. Meisjes worden nog te vaak achtergesteld en gediscrimineerd, soms zelfs bedreigd en mishandeld.
Plan International België maakt deel uit van een ambitieuze internationale federatie met projecten in bijna 80 landen (waaronder België). Met onze projecten genereren we impact, via beleidsbeïnvloeding, sensibilisering en projecten met en voor kinderen en jongeren.
Plan International België is een sterk groeiende organisatie. Tijdens de laatste 5 jaar steeg ons inkomen van 14 miljoen naar 20 miljoen en groeiden we van 40 naar meer dan 65 zeer gedreven collega’s.
Om de straffe ambities van Plan International België nog sterker te vertalen naar een betere toekomst voor kinderen en jongeren, zijn we op zoek naar **een enthousiaste, waardengedreven en vaardige Head of Strategy & Innovation (v/m/x).**
**Je rol als Head of Strategy & Innovation**:
De Strategy & Innovation Unit ontwikkelt de juiste, meest doeltreffende strategieën en programma's voor nu en de toekomst, om Plan International België in staat te stellen haar doelstellingen op het gebied van internationale en lokale programmering en fondsenwerving te realiseren.
Als **Head of Strategy & Innovation** geef je leiding aan een team van thematische experts, specialisten en onderzoeksmedewerkers het vlak van product-innovatie, business en programma development. Samen met het managementteam ontwikkel je jaaractieplannen en doelstellingen en sta je in voor de implementatie ervan in samenwerking met de betrokken directors. Je coördineert en beheert business development
- en innovatieprojecten. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Nationaal Directeur.
**Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden**:
- **Mee ontwikkelen, implementeren en opvolgen van de lange termijnstrategie** op organisatieniveau, door middel van **onderzoek, innovatie en kwaliteitsvolle business development** die op een doelgerichte en efficiënte manier aansluiten bij de visie en missie van Plan International.
- Het **kloppend hart zijn van de innovatie** binnen Plan International België door middel van het ontwikkelen, implementeren en opvolgen van innovatieve ideeën, producten, programma’s alsmede het assisteren, adviseren en coördineren van projectmanagers of departementen m.b.t. onderzoek, ontwikkeling en innovatie. Dit houdt in:
- Medeverantwoordelijkheid voor **business development** en het **verwerven van institutionele en stichtingsfinanciering** in nauwe samenwerking met de departementen International Programmes en Policy & Social Change (leiden, coördineren).
- Medeverantwoordelijkheid voor de **ontwikkeling van nieuwe particuliere fondsenwervingsproducten** (corporate donors, major donors en mass market) in nauwe samenwerking met het departement Fondsenwerving (en met input van de departmenten International Programmes en Policy & Social Change).
- Het **begeleiden en opvolgen van transversale projecten** (projectmanagement) binnen Plan International België **op het vlak van business development**, waar de **behoeften **van de betrokken stakeholders in kaart worden gebracht en succesvol dienen te worden **geïntegreerd **in het project en eindproduct. Dit kan zowel over Fundraising, IT, International Programmes als Policy & Social Change projecten gaan.
- Het mee **ontwikkelen en analyseren** van **strategische positioneringsreflecties** zoals gender-transformatieve programmering, kwaliteitsfinanciering, positionering van Plan International België, afstemming op de positionering op internationaal vlak (Global Plan International Federation), in nauwe samenwerking met de collega’s van Fundraising, International Programmes en Policy & Social Change.
- **Benchmarking **met andere NGO en het opvolgen marktontwikkelingen.
- **People management** van het Strategy & Innovation team als een **organisatie-breed team** van experts, specialisten en onderzoekers, deel uitmakend van Plan International België:
- Samenbrengen en laten samenwerken om tot innovatie van de beste producten te komen.
- Op juiste moment betrekken van (externe) experten, nodig voor innovatie.
- **Verantwoordelijk voor kwaliteitsbewaking**:
- Verantwoordelijkheid voor een **continue kwaliteitsbewaking en -borging in de innovatieve fase**: met behulp van feedback rond resultaten komende van collega’s van Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning, de identificatie van (financiële, reputatie
- en operationele) risico's, feedback van betrokkenen en input van werkgroepen, geleerde lessen. Assisteren en coördineren van projectmanagers of departementen m.b.t. onderzoek, ontwikkeling en innovatie.
