This is a fantastic senior customer care opportunity requiring an enthusiastic individual to lead a small team which manages day to day customer orders and formulates innovative solutions to customer service issues.
The Position:
- Being first point of contact for the customer and offering a prompt, polite and positive approach
- Driving process simplification and improvement
- Being customer advocate in internal discussions with sales, supply chain, logistics, service and credit
- Receiving, processing and verifying the accuracy of orders
- Ensuring the timely shipments of orders
- Close coordination with regional logistics teams and warehouses
- Detecting discrepancies and implementing root cause corrective action
- Redirecting inquiries as needed, to ensure customers receive final resolution
- Supporting new systems implementation
- Developing the skills of the customer care team to ensure that all customers receive a premium customer care experience
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A recognized diploma or degree qualififcation in a relevant/related field
- Relevant work experience (minimum two years) within international customer service
- Well developed interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up abilities
- Sound judgment while handling time-sensitive tasks
- Flexibility to prioritise and meet/manage challenging priorities and deadlines
- An understanding of basic accounting concepts and inventory management processes
- Proficiency in the use of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- SAP Order Processing knowledge (or other Tier 1 ERP Systems)
- Fluent communication skills in English and German (other European languages is a plus)
