**What does a Business Development Manager do at Tobania?**
What lies ahead is a diverse range of tasks, allowing you to be proactive and never get bored. Amongst these tasks:
- **Business Development** is you core business; you know how to convince customers of our SMART.Business:
- You proactively **prospect** for new customers and, in addition, look for business opportunities with existing customers in terms of (digital) transformation projects;
- You focus on **customer satisfaction** and ensure a long-lasting partnership with each of your customers:
- Through your diverse client contacts, you establish a synergie with each customer; this
includes leading and assuming responsibility for high quality program, initiatives and deliverables, with knowledge of established timelines and budget;
- You will be the **main point of contact** for the client, building strong relationships with them by being proactive and anticipating the client’s needs;
- You will be thinking about **Solution Services**: what are solutions for an industry 4.0 at the customer and how are we going to solve, and organize those situations in a SMART way:
- **Solution Selling**: You will introduce customized solutions which are integrated into one bigger whole; you make a difference by offering solutions that will increase the productivity of the client’s employees;
- From sales lead to the **closing of a deal**: you’re in charge (together with our Bid team and the presales/legal department);
- Together with the Business Unit Director, you will help to set up a **strategic account plan**, evaluate and propose improvements.
**Who are we looking for?**:
**What profile are we looking for?** In addition to your drive and motivation, you will increase your chances by ticking as many of these boxes as possible:
- You have a bachelor or a Master (or equivalent in terms of experience with Solution
Sales within any sector);
- You can look back on several years of sales experience, preferably within Business
Development and you have already been involved in writing proposals and
drafting contracts;
- You have commercial flair and a hunter mindset;
- You can organize and supervise projects from A to Z;
- You are honest, assertive, proactive and a real daredevil
- In addition, you can think strategically and communicate very well, also with C-level management;
- You are a real team player who like to achieve successes together with the entire team. You can also work independently and autonomously.
- You have strong communication and negation skills and you know how to convince the
customer of our services in record time;
- With your growth mindset, you believe that through hard work, good strategies and feedback from others, you can further develop your own talents.
- Languages: you are fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
