As a Senior Business Development Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of business development, strategic partnerships, and account management of our Healthcare IT solutions mainly in Flanders.
You strive for growth and deliver excellent sales performance. You collaborate with executive management to determine the market development strategy, industry and account-level sales priorities and areas of focus within the industry market/s. You work closely with solution leaders to tailor offerings to the unique needs of the industry.
You identify key markets in the Flemish region and develop strategies to establish our brand and obtain market share.
As a Senior Business Development Manager you:
- Develop & validate business models and transform these into first successes, building up revenue and generating growth.
- Own the business development plan and the aligned quota with the scope of the market territory.
- Collaborate across functional areas to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities. Interacting with information systems users, business management, vendors, and strategic alliance partners to ensure that business requirements are met or exceeded. Identifying partnering opportunities to broaden customer reach.
- Build relationships while positioning the company for future prospects whilst maintaining your connections with local governments
- Act as capture executive on selected pursuits to enhance company position and gain new business.
- Act as a business matter expert and support clients to solve technical inquiries.
- You benefit from your expertise and strong market knowledge when building brand credibility and our reputation.
What you bring to the table
Basic Qualifications
- You have +5 years of related experience in the Healthcare IT business
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree and experience with Healthcare IT.
- You have excellent Dutch (written and verbal) communication skills. You’re able to express yourself in French.
- Experience working with country-specific laws and issues as it pertains to healthcare industry
- Experience working with contract interpretation, negotiations, and project management
- Strong leadership skills driven by excellent customer-service orientation
- Strong skills in strategic and quantitative analysis and project management to identify key value drivers and quickly model complex issues
Other Qualifications
- Strong financial, quantitative and qualitative skills to monitor and or change direction to meet financial goals
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong networking skills to create and maintain formal and informal networks
- Willingness to travel
- Being a problem solver with an analytical mind and thinking out of the box.
