Het First-line Operations-team werd opgericht in mei 2023 en is een dynamisch en groeiend team dat tot taak heeft te zorgen voor efficiënte en vlotte transacties ter ondersteuning van de teams van Belfius AM (Private Portfolio Management, Collective Portfolio Management, Risk teams enz.). Dat houdt onder meer het volgende in:
- Het beheren van dagelijkse transacties, middle office-activiteiten (het uitwerken van instrumenten, het invoeren van data enz.).
- Het afhandelen van aanvragen en ondersteuning voor de tooling (ontbrekende data, ‘single point of contact’ voor IT-aanvragen enz.).
- Andere operationele ondersteuning.
De manager zorgt voor het uitvoeren van de verrichtingen en is verantwoordelijk voor het toezicht op een team van drie personen om ervoor te zorgen dat de diverse diensten, inclusief Asset Management, Risk Management en Corporate Office support, optimale service levels handhaven.
**De job in een notendop**
- De dagelijkse activiteiten van het First-line Operations-team uitvoeren.
- Optreden als het eerste aanspreekpunt voor de tooling support tussen de First-line Operations-teams en de Front Office/Risk/Corporate office-teams.
- Het organiseren en toezicht houden op het werk van het team.
- Garant staan voor de overeenstemming met alle interne procedures, operationele controles en reglementaire vereisten. Het identificeren van potentiële risico’s en het nemen van maatregelen om die risico’s in te perken.
- Actief deelnemen aan besprekingen inzake de performance review samen met ondersteunende functies waarop het First-line Operations-team een beroep doet voor zijn dagelijkse activiteiten. Het herkennen van patronen, het aanbevelen van verbeteringen en die ter overweging en implementatie voorleggen.
- Het analyseren van de bestaande operationele processen, het identificeren van de domeinen die vatbaar zijn voor verbetering, en het implementeren van veranderingen waar dat nodig is.
- Het verstrekken van begeleiding, coaching/opleiding, en ondersteuning bieden aan de leden van het First-line Operations-team.
- Toezien op de prestaties van het team en consequente feedback geven.
- Een positieve werksfeer bevorderen en teamwerk en samenwerking promoten.
- Verslag uitbrengen over de activiteiten en de prestaties van het team, deelnemen aan afstemmingsvergaderingen met de technology-teams of andere gepaste governance (stakeholdering).
**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**
- Je behaalde een bachelor (Finance, Business Administration of een aanverwant domein
- Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een middle office/ operationele rol of vergelijkbare relevante functie, inclusief minstens 2 jaar in een toezichts
- of managementfunctie.
- Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring opgedaan in de sector van het vermogensbeheer of in de banksecto.
- Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatievaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, in het Nederlands en het Frans. Je hebt een actieve kennis van het Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk.
- Je bent vertrouwd (of bent bereid vertrouwd te worden) met de diverse instrumenten, specifieke systemen die gebruikt worden door de organisatie (Simcorp Dimension, visual studio, Excel, PowerPoint enz.
- Je bent erg leergierig en beschikt over de mindset om jezelf voortdurend te verbeteren.
- Je werkt graag in teamverband, je hebt een hoge stressbestendigheid en je kan zelfstandig werken aan je opdrachten.
- Je bent gemotiveerd en flexibel en gaat georganiseerd te werk. Je hebt een goed synthetisch vermogen en bent analytisch ingesteld.
- Je beschikt over uitstekende management skills.
- Je voert de waarden van de bank hoog in het vaandel en je ziet toe op het vrijwaren van het vertrouwelijk karakter van de relaties met de klanten.
- Je geeft blijk van flexibiliteit door jezelf aan te passen aan de evoluerende businessomgevingen en reglementaire wijzigingen.
