One of our clients, a European nonprofit organization, is looking for an Office Manager.
Your tasks:
- Ensure smooth running of the office;
- Provide administrative support to a growing team;
- Assist the Managing Director;
- Support the organisation of international events;
- Be the primary contact for administrative matters;
- Implement and maintain office administrative procedures;
- Manage the association database;
- Manage electronic and paper filing systems;
- Manage finances (in & out invoicing, petty cash, follow-up);
- Manage office calendars;
- Organise and support meetings; possibly take minutes
- Format documents and presentations;
- Answer the general office phone line and direct calls as appropriate;
- Book travel for the team;
- Ensure the office is presentable at all times;
- Manage office supplies;
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
**Profile**
- You have a Bachelor degree in secretariat or equivalent qualification;
- You have minimum 5 years experience in a similar position;
- You have an excellent command of French and proficiency in speaking and writing English, other languages an asset;
- You are highly proficient in IT technologies in particular MS Office, database software, internet;
- You have excellent organisational and time management skills;
- You have knowledge of accountancy and bookkeeping;
- Experience with a Belgian trade association/not-for-profit organisation an asset;
- You are a self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a committed team;
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with different level of seniority;
- You are willing to work in a small dynamic organisation.
