Twipe is a mediatech scale-up based in Leuven, Belgium working with leading newspaper publishers in Europe and the US to grow their digital subscribers and sustain quality journalism. We offer cloud based digital edition publishing, analytics, and personalization solutions. Our innovative solutions accelerate the growth of newspapers including international titles like Le Monde and The Telegraph and leading Belgian titles like De Standaard and Het Nieuwsblad..
To inspire our industry, we gather and analyse industry knowledge and share insights with our growing Future of News publishers’ community.
**Why are we hiring?**
Our current Office Manager is taking parental leave, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to step into the role part-time (50% or 60%) for 7 to 8 months. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by managing key aspects of our office operations and helping us maintain a vibrant and productive workplace.
**What do you do?**
- ** Create an inspiring workplace**: Ensure Twipe’s offices are both attractive and functional, fostering productivity and creativity.
- ** Drive HR operations**: Take ownership of key HR processes like payroll, holidays and onboarding with a focus on operational excellence.
- ** Oversee fleet and purchase management**: Handle procurement, in-life management, and end-of-life disposal for company assets.
- ** Organize standout events**: Help organize memorable events for both colleagues and customers.
- ** Coordinate travel logistics**: Arrange travel plans for team members and visitors.
- ** Be the go-to person**: Provide support for colleagues with questions or issues, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- ** Bring fresh ideas**: Keep an eye on trends in office management and identify tools to enhance our scale-up journey.

**Your track record**:
- You bring a minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in office management, HR administration, or a related operational role. Experience in a company of our size (45 people), or a scale-up in international environment is a strong advantage.
- You are highly proficient in managing administrative HR processes such as payroll, onboarding, travel, and holiday tracking.
- You are comfortable handling financial and basic budgeting.
- You have experience in fleet management, from procurement to lifecycle management.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch; any other language is seen as a big plus.
